Overcoming
Fear of Death explains the riches of salvation that are found in Jesus
Christ which, when embraced by faith, will deliver every Christian
believer from the fear of sickness and death.
For many years,
scores of pastors and church leaders expressed the need for a
comprehensive book on salvation according to Scripture in the African
context. To the knowledge of the author, this has never before been
done. Other pastors shared their belief that Christians often lapse back
into African Traditional Religion during times of sickness and death
because they lack a full grasp of their salvation. Being insecure in
their relationship with Jesus Christ and not understanding the priceless
privileges they have as children of God, they panic when trouble arises
and lapse back into their old religious beliefs and practices out of
fear.
This book provides biblical teaching that will address
this two-fold need to strengthen the Christian Church in Africa.
Overcoming Fear of Death is written for the layperson who knows little
of their faith. For the biblically trained reader, this book will deepen
their understanding of salvation and strengthen their faith.
